Κonstantinos Vryniotis' relationship with the vine and wine, dates back to the time when his ancestors started planting vines in the area and built the old stone traditional-winery.
Next to the old, stoned grape mill with the traditional underground fermentation tank, is located the new winery.
Self-owned 100 acres of vineyard are sitting in Gialtra and in the foothills of mountain “Telethrio” next to Istiaia and Aegean sea, with altitude from 150 to 400 metres. The winery cultivates 4 white and 3 red varieties of grapes. Vradiano which is a rare Greek variety from Northen Evia is one of them.
The combination of soil, microclimate and the philosophy of the people of Vryniotis winery gives their wines their special character.
Bright, white-yellow color with greenish highlights. Explosive aromas of white-fleshed fruits such as pear and melon. Pleasant, harmonious flavor ensemble with good aromatic character, cool acidity and delicate taste.
Bright lemon with greenish highlights. Explosive aromas of apricot, white-fleshed peach along with citrus blossoms, balance pleasantly with the exotic notes. Balanced in the mouth with good body and rich aromatic character, crisp acidity and intense fruity aftertaste.
A retsina that does not resemble retsina. Aromas of coniferous forest and mastic trees. Elegant in the mouth, complex with hints of saltiness
Bright, white-yellow color with greenish highlights. Accentuated, lively aromas of exotic fruits such as those of pineapple, and lychee are spread over a background of mineral and metallicity composing an exuberant personality. In the mouth it unfolds elegantly with a sharp and refreshing acidity that gives life, richness of aromas and a prolonged aftertaste full of freshness.
It has a deep purple color and on the nose the attractive bouquet of aromas is characterized by the red fruits of the forest harmoniously linked with the aromas of spices and oak. Rich and balanced mouth, delightful fruit, velvety tannins and long peppery aftertaste.
Intense ruby color. Complex aromas of cherry, sour cherry, cashew, almond and spices. Soft mouthfeel with well-structured tannins and a long aftertaste.
On the nose, the complex aromas of black fruit, violet, chocolate and spices blend harmoniously with the aromas of oak. Compact and rich mouthfeel, rosy with velvety tannins. Long and sweet aftertaste.
Color soft, rose. Its aromas are lively, reminiscent of roses like Turkish delight and rose water. Lasting aftertaste.
Impressive pomegranate color of crystal purity. Passages of red fruits, cassis, stone cherries, strawberry and butterscotch make up an attractive aromatic profile. Cool and full, with the sensation of freshness taking over the mouth where the red fruits make their presence felt
Light pink in appearance, cool and delicious with delightful fine bubbles and explosive aromas of wild strawberry, rose, red fruits and Turkish delight. Body of medium intensity with balanced acidity and cool sweet aftertaste.
The ripe grapes of the rare VradIano variety and their proper vinification give us this wonderful sweet wine with strong aromas of rose, ripe fruit and vanilla. Enjoy very chilled.
