A wonderful evening with ROKU Gin in Matsuhisa Athens!
ROKU Gin celebrated the end of Spring, in a special evening at Matsuhisa Athens, while also introducing us to the other seasons of the year.
Specifically, on Wednesday, June 7, the guests had the opportunity to taste the aromatic, Japanese, ROKU Gin, through a specially designed food-pairing, but also to relish refreshing cocktails, enjoying the view by the sea. And all this, a few days before World Gin Day, where ROKU Gin celebrates along with all those who have singled out gin as their favorite drink.

The guests were greeted on their arrival, by a variation of the classic gin & tonic, as a welcome drink, combined with bergamot. Christina Veliskaki, Marketing Manager of DYNAMIKIS S.A., welcomed the guests expressing the company's passion for the specific brand, while Mr. Panos Barlos, CEO of DYNAMIKI S.A., explained the reasons that make ROKU Gin such a special spirit.
Afterwards, Mr. Stelios Magoulas, Spirits Manager of DYNAMIKIS S.A. took over, where he presented the history of the brand and the Japanese philosophy behind the creation of ROKU Gin, while leading the guests to a very interesting tasting journey through the 4 seasons of the year. The presentation ended with a demonstration of Japanese calligraphy by calligrapher Mizuki Imamura San, dedicated to ROKU.
The evening unfolded on the impressive terrace of Matsuhisa, where the guests had the opportunity to enjoy Japanese dishes and aromatic cocktails with ROKU Gin, in a specially designed setting that travelled you to Japan. The leading role was played by the Sakura tree, the impressive pink tree with cherry blossoms that blooms in Spring in Japan and is an emblematic element of Japanese aesthetics.
The star of the evening was the artist Mizuki Imamura, where on the bench "What makes you feel alive?" was creating beautiful Japanese memorabilia, with an inspiring word written on washi paper, completing an evening 100% dedicated to the magic of Japan.
ROKU Gin takes us on a journey through the aromas and flavors of Japan, capturing the glory of each era in a balanced and tasty whole. It invites us to embrace nature, the vitality of the seasons and to feel "Alive with the best of every season"!
